Scooters

I've seen quite a few "pensioners" (aka seniors) zooming around on those 4 wheel motorized scooters. They are quite common in Sidney BC also. But, these ones are uniquely adapted for English weather: rain. They come with full 'soft' covers with clear plastic windows in the front, back and side. The side windows/door zip open and can be tied back.

Better yet, I saw a lovely hard-top model with complete roof and side windows! Needless to say, these machines are operated on the sidewalks. I wonder if you need a license?
